I say hello to every animal I meet! And they usually say hello right back!
My journey with animal communication started when I was a kid.
My parents owned a farm and animal supply store, so I was lucky enough to grow up with all kinds of critters! Some of the best parts of my childhood included time spent with dogs, cats, chickens, horses, goats, and cows, just to name a few.
I was adopted as a baby, and by the age of eleven, both of my adoptive parents had passed away. I think those early losses are a huge part of why my heart is so open to animals. They have been beautiful companions, offering unconditional love and comfort.
And I truly loved them all—from frogs and fireflies to snakes and spiders. I believe every single creature is beautiful. (Which is why you'll never catch me harming a spider; instead, they get a gentle escort right out the front door!)
I always knew animals understood us much more clearly and deeply than we humans were taught to believe was possible. And I got messages from animals all the time!
Once, a dog told me how much she hated being called fat. Her people didn't think she understood, but she did. Other dogs have told me the same thing—they really don't like being teased about their appearance!
Sometimes they show me vivid images, like the dog who showed me his out-of-body experience during surgery.
Other times, they tell me they want more freedom, like the sweet kitty who really wanted outdoor time. I worked with her and her mom to help make that happen in a way that kept them both safe and happy!
